While we volunteer our time, the equipment we need is expensive. I've donated 160 hours so  far this year, but the defibs (and others) need replacing so we can provide the service we do. SO:

I'm switching off my mobile phone for a day, on Tuesday 31st of August, to raise much needed funds for St John Ambulance Australia (VIC).
I'm blown away by everyone's generousity, keep it coming!! I've extended the goal so more people can get involved!

People count on St John Volunteers to provide first aid help at community events across Victoria. Help me raise funds to provide vital equipment they need to help you when you need it most. Each and every year our 3,000 plus volunteers assist Victorian's with first aid at community events, giving back over 250,000 hours and treating over 13,000 casualties. In times of crisis, St John volunteers are deployed to provide first aid during state emergencies and other disasters. My 'Switch Off' goal is to help them help you.
